Domestically produced tanned leather handle

Experience the changes over time

The leather used for the handles of our canvas bag series is Japanese tanned leather. "Tanned leather" refers to leather tanned using tannin, a component of plant tannins. Tanned leather is also known as "natural leather." From the raw material to the tanning process, no chemical products are used, and no coloring is used, allowing you to enjoy the natural charm of the leather. Because no surface processing is done, you can feel the individual differences of each piece of leather, such as scratches and blood vessels.
As you use it, it absorbs the oils from your hands and sunlight, giving it a unique luster and aging to an amber color, allowing you to enjoy it. Nume leather is known as a durable and long-lasting material, so if you take good care of it, you can use it for a long time.

Repairs and handlebar replacements

A bag that can be used forever

At Container Shop, we not only repair bags, but also provide after-sales service, such as replacing the tanned leather used on the handles with new leather. After years of use, the handles will inevitably wear out. Replacing the handles will give your bag a new lease of life.
I think that if we could replace the handles instead of throwing them away when they wear out and use them for as long as possible, we could help reduce waste even a little.

Care Instructions

What if you spill your coffee?

If a stain has formed on the fabric, you can lighten it by soaking a clean towel in warm water and dabbing the stained area with the towel. (If using a mild detergent, dilute it.) Dry in the shade.

In most cases, you can remove any dirt that has stuck to the surface by tapping it lightly with adhesive tape or something similar.
