We want to reduce the amount of fabric that is routinely cut, discarded, and wasted for the sake of design.
That is why The Container Shop was born.

We believe the slight differences in size and length compared to ordinary bags are unique characteristics found only here, and we continue to craft bags that are kind to both people and materials.

LOW WASTE
To minimize waste during bag production, we design our bags to fit the size of the fabric exactly, ensuring no material goes to waste. The only scraps produced when making one bag are the fabric selvages and a tiny fragment less than 1cm from the hole punch. These unique sizes, rarely found in ready-made products, have become a hallmark of our brand.

FROM FACTORY
We leverage our unique perspective as a factory that works directly with raw materials in our bag-making process. From repurposing the leather cutouts from our handles into tags to utilizing industrial materials as bag fabric, we pack every piece with ideas that only the makers themselves would think of.

A key characteristic of our work is that we prioritize making the most of our materials, which has resulted in a wide variety of designs. Because the size of our bags is determined by the dimensions of the leather or fabric used, we have created bag series in a diverse range of shapes, sizes, and orientations.
