What is Coated PVC Processing?
Powdered polyvinyl chloride is kneaded into cotton fabric,
then PVC-coated before undergoing heat and pressure moulding
(embossing). This imparts stiffness and resilience to the fabric.
It creates water-repellent, waterproof, and stain-resistant properties,
allowing water and dirt to be wiped off immediately.　

※ While minor water exposure is manageable, due to the sewing process,
where needles pass through the fabric, it is not completely waterproof.

<Characteristics of Coated PVC Processing>

During the process of turning the bag inside out after sewing is complete,
some fabric areas may develop whitish patches.
Current technology makes it difficult to prevent this entirely.
Whilst we avoid including items with numerous prominent white patches
during inspection, some whitening may occur.
Please be aware of this when placing your order.

What is Shibo Processing?
The wrinkled pattern on the surface of leather goods is called “shibo” (wrinkles).
Shibo processing not only enhances the appearance with a premium feel,
but also improves tactile comfort, provides slip resistance,
and helps conceal dirt (fingerprints) and scratches.

＜Usage Precautions＞
As vegetable-tanned leather is a natural material, it may exhibit natural imperfections such as marks, colour variations, stains, wrinkles, grain lines, or dark spots.
Colour transfer may occur due to friction or exposure to moisture; therefore, we recommend wearing clothing of similar colour tones whenever possible.
The leather is susceptible to oils from light exposure or perspiration, as well as moisture from rain. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or damp conditions may cause fading or mould. If the leather gets wet, promptly wipe it dry with a clean towel and air-dry it in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
Enjoy the unique ageing process characteristic of natural leather.
While we take every possible measure to ensure durability, current technology cannot completely prevent colour transfer.
Colour transfer or fading may occur due to water exposure or friction. Exercise caution when using in rainy weather or wearing light-coloured clothing.

＜Care Instructions for Leather Handles＞
Stains can often be removed by rubbing with an eraser.
As a natural material, the leather will develop a unique patina and soften with use.
The reverse side of the leather is treated, but should any leather fibres emerge,
applying a clear leather cream to the reverse side will help settle them.
