<fabric features>
The cotton fabric is finished with a matte PVC lamination. It is resistant to dirt and scratches, and the embossed grain finish gives it a sophisticated, mature look.

What is PVC processing?
Powdered vinyl chloride is kneaded into the cotton fabric to create a PVC coating, which is then heated, pressurized, and embossed (grain finish).

Laminating the fabric adds firmness and body. The material is water-repellent, waterproof, and stain-resistant, allowing you to easily wipe away any spills or dirt.

*While it can withstand some exposure to water, it is not completely waterproof due to the needle holes created during the sewing process.

What is a grain finish (Shibo)?
"Shibo" refers to the wrinkled pattern on the surface of leather products. Embossing this pattern not only adds a luxurious look and texture, but also provides anti-slip properties and helps mask fingerprints and scratches.


<precautions for use>
As vegetable-tanned leather is a natural material, it may feature natural marks, color variations, stains, wrinkles, blood vessel patterns, or black spots. Please be aware that color transfer may occur due to friction or moisture, so we recommend wearing clothing of a similar color. The leather is sensitive to light, oils (such as sweat), and moisture (such as rain); leaving it in direct sunlight or in a damp condition for extended periods may cause fading or mold. If the item gets wet, wipe it promptly with a dry towel and let it air dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Please enjoy the unique aging process characteristic of natural leather. While we take the utmost care regarding color fastness, it is technically impossible to prevent color fading entirely. Please exercise caution when using the item in rainy weather or wearing light-colored clothing, as water or friction may cause color loss or transfer.

<how to care for leather handles>
Marks can often be removed by gently rubbing them with an eraser. As a natural material, the leather will develop a unique color and character and soften over time. Although the underside of the leather has been treated, if any leather dust appears, you can apply a clear leather cream to the reverse side to settle it.
