Precautions and Care Instructions

<fabric features>
The cotton fabric is finished with a matte PVC lamination. The textured "shibo" (pebbled) finish provides a sophisticated, mature aesthetic while making dirt and scratches less noticeable.

What is PVC processing?
Powdered polyvinyl chloride is applied to the cotton fabric, then heat-pressed to create a pebbled (shibo) texture.

Laminating the fabric adds firmness and body. It creates water-repellent, waterproof, and stain-resistant properties, allowing you to easily wipe away spills or dirt.

*While minor water exposure is not an issue, please note that it is not completely waterproof due to the needle holes from the sewing process.

What is shibo processing?
"Shibo" refers to the wrinkled pattern on the surface of leather products. Adding this texture not only enhances the luxurious appearance but also provides a better grip, prevents slipping, and masks fingerprints and scratches.

<characteristics of lamination>
The cotton fabric is laminated. During the process of turning the bags inside out after sewing, white stress marks may appear on the fabric. Given current manufacturing technology, it is difficult to prevent this entirely. While we perform quality inspections and exclude items with significant white marks, please be aware that some minor marks may remain. We appreciate your understanding when placing your order.

<care instructions for leather handles>
We use domestic natural vegetable-tanned leather. Dirt can often be removed by gently rubbing with an eraser. As a natural material, the leather will develop a unique color, texture, and softness over time. While the underside of the leather has been treated, if any leather fibers become loose, applying a clear leather cream to the back will help smooth them down.</care></characteristics></fabric>
