<fabric features>
The cotton fabric is finished with a matte PVC lamination. It is designed to be resistant to dirt and scratches, and the pebbled texture gives it a sophisticated, mature look.

What is PVC processing?
Powdered vinyl chloride is kneaded into the cotton fabric, PVC-coated, and then heat-pressed to create a pebbled texture (embossing).

Lamination adds firmness and structure to the fabric. It provides water-repellent, waterproof, and stain-resistant properties, allowing you to easily wipe away any spills or dirt.

*While it can withstand some water exposure, it is not completely waterproof due to the needle holes from the sewing process.

What is pebbled texture (shibo-kako)?
The wrinkled pattern on the surface of leather products is called "shibo." Pebbling not only adds a luxurious appearance but also provides a better tactile feel, prevents slipping, and makes dirt (fingerprints) and scratches less noticeable.


<precautions for use>
As vegetable-tanned leather is a natural material, it may have natural scratches, color irregularities, stains, wrinkles, blood vessel marks, or black spots. Please be aware that friction or exposure to water may cause color fading; we recommend wearing clothing of a similar color. Being sensitive to light, oils from sweat, and moisture like rain, prolonged exposure to sunlight or leaving the item in a damp state can lead to discoloration or mold. If it gets wet, wipe it promptly with a dry towel and air dry it in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Please enjoy the aging process unique to natural leather. While we take every possible care with colorfastness, it is technically impossible to prevent fading entirely with current technology. Please exercise caution when using in the rain or wearing light-colored clothing, as water or friction may cause color transfer.

<care instructions for leather handles>
Marks can often be removed by rubbing them with an eraser. As a natural material, the leather will develop its own unique color and character, becoming softer over time. Although the back of the leather has been treated, if any leather dust appears, applying a clear leather cream to the back surface will help settle it.
