*What is yarn-dyed No. 8 canvas?
The base fabric is woven in Osaka (Senshu), a region known for its thriving cotton-synthetic textile industry, and the yarn is dyed at a traditional Bushu indigo dyeing factory in Saitama Prefecture. Because reactive dyes are used, it has better color fastness than conventional canvas, so you can use it with confidence without worrying about color fading. Furthermore, a resin sizing is applied to the surface to give it a firm, crisp texture.

*What is vegetable-tanned leather (nume leather)?
Tannin-tanned leather has a natural texture that develops a unique color and character, becoming softer with use. The back of the leather has been treated to prevent shedding of leather fibers.

<precautions for use>
As leather is a natural material, it may have natural scratches, color irregularities, stains, wrinkles, blood vessel marks, or black spots. Please note that color may fade due to friction or moisture, so we recommend wearing clothing of a similar color whenever possible. Leather is sensitive to light, oils such as sweat, and moisture like rain, so leaving it in direct sunlight or in a wet condition for long periods may cause sun damage or mold. If it gets wet, wipe it off quickly with a dry towel and let it air dry in the shade in a well-ventilated area. Please enjoy the aging process unique to natural leather. While we take the utmost care regarding color fastness, it is impossible to completely prevent color fading with current technology. Please be very careful when using in the rain or wearing light-colored clothing, as color fading or transfer may occur due to moisture or friction.

<care instructions>
Using a waterproof spray on the fabric (avoiding the leather parts) before use will help repel water and dirt. Please be careful not to spray the leather handles or the brand label. Applying waterproof spray regularly is more effective. If part of the fabric gets dirty, soak a clean towel in warm water and gently pat the dirty area to transfer the stain onto the towel. Loose dirt can often be removed by patting the area with adhesive tape. Dirt on the leather can often be removed by rubbing it with an eraser. Due to its natural material, it will change in color and character and soften with use. Although the back of the leather has been treated, if any leather dust appears, applying a clear leather cream to the back should settle it.</care></precautions>
