What is Coated PVC processing?
Powdered vinyl chloride is kneaded into cotton fabric, PVC coated, and then heat-pressed to create an embossed (grained) finish. This gives the fabric firmness and resilience. It provides water-repellent, waterproof, and stain-resistant properties, allowing you to easily wipe away water or dirt.

*While it can handle some water, it is not completely waterproof due to the needle holes created during the sewing process.

During the process of turning the bag inside out after sewing, some parts of the fabric may appear whitish. Given current technology, it is difficult to prevent this entirely. We exclude items with significant white patches during quality inspection as "B-grade" products, but please note that some minor white marks may still be present. We kindly ask for your understanding before placing an order.

What is embossing (shibo-kako)?
The wrinkled pattern on the surface of leather products is called "shibo" (grain). Embossing not only adds a luxurious look but also improves the texture, provides a non-slip grip, and makes fingerprints and scratches less noticeable.

<precautions for use>
As vegetable-tanned leather is a natural material, it may have natural scratches, color irregularities, stains, wrinkles, blood vessel marks, or black spots. Color transfer may occur due to friction or moisture, so please try to wear clothing of a similar color. It is sensitive to light, oils (such as sweat), and moisture; leaving it in direct sunlight or wet conditions for extended periods may cause fading or mold. If it gets wet, wipe it promptly with a dry towel and air dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Please enjoy the unique aging process of natural leather. We take every precaution regarding colorfastness, but it is currently impossible to prevent color fading entirely. Please be aware that color fading or transfer may occur due to rain or friction; exercise caution when using in wet weather or wearing light-colored clothing.

<care instructions for leather handles>
Scuff marks can often be removed by rubbing gently with an eraser. Because it is a natural material, it will change in color and texture and become softer with use. The underside of the leather has been treated, but if any leather fibers begin to shed, applying a clear leather cream to the back side will help settle them.</care></precautions></characteristics>
